When you log in via Google, Apple, or Reddit, we collect basic profile info (such as your user ID, display name, and email, where permitted) to personalize your experience.

b. OAuth Tokens

We store access tokens to retrieve your authorized content (like Reddit feeds or YouTube Shorts). Tokens are encrypted and never shared.

c. App Usage Data

We track anonymous analytics like:

Most viewed feed items
Interaction duration
Error logs

This helps us improve Doomscroller’s performance and features.

d. Media Classification Data

Our AI models analyze your content to classify tone, bias, and sentiment. This is done in real-time and not stored after analysis unless explicitly saved by you.

2. How We Use Your Data

To deliver your personalized feed
To run AI-powered insights on your media consumption
To improve app functionality and accuracy
To debug and prevent abuse of the service

We do not sell your data. Ever.

3. Data Sharing

We don’t share your personal data with third parties unless:

Required by law or regulation
Needed for core services (e.g. authentication, storage)
You explicitly give consent

Revoke access to third-party tokens (Google/Reddit/Apple)

6. Children

Doomscroller is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
